The original club was formed several years ago to give local acoustic performers the opportunity to perform in an informal setting, but one which would also offer "good order" for the artistes. The club was envisaged as an acoustic music club as opposed to a folk club to enable a wider range of members, for example, blues performers.
The Almond Valley Folk Club meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Tap Shop, Midcalder Inn, Midcalder, West Lothian EH53 OAW. All interested visitors and performers are very welcome. A varied programme of performances is posted below.
